stealing an idea...

I am too busy/lazy to post right now, so I will just steal an idea from Crystal and post a couple of photos of my cat, Mishea. She actually has beautiful blue eyes, but they always come out a bit luciferian in photos. The lump under the blanket is yours truly.

Liam,

Thanks for the kind words above. I am humbled...

That's a beautiful cat you have there. Is she a Siamese, or part Siamese? We had a Siamese when I was a kid. Very cool cat, but my brother was allergic to it. My eldest daughter is terribly allergic to them too, so alas, no cat for us.

She's beautiful!

Kermit's mom, Grendel, was a long haired siamese with blue eyes, but in photos they didn't show up well either.

Thanks, Jeff and Crystal.

She's something of a mix. Her mother was a Japanese bobtail (hence the tiny tail). She's got some siamese and perhaps some abyssianian -- that goes well with the general multicultural feel of our household.

Gorgeous kitty! The Frood's cat is half-siamese, half-tabby and has light blue eyes, too. She's mellowed a lot, although she does like to sit on my face to wake me up in the middle of the night. She's very chatty, and also quite respectful of my rodents. (Probably because my hamster--my first rodent--was a rescue in a house with cats, and he'd like to chase their cats (Maine coons) in his ball. Freaked Nilla out.)

Very beautiful cat Liam. We have an orange tabby named Ginger. She the most affectionate cat I know. Spent the whole day in bed with me on Wednesday. She realy hates our new beagle though. Great Pics!

Oh sure, cute pictures of kitty. I notice you didn't post any of her drawing blood from unsuspecting human beings. Her eyes come out like that in photos because the camera doesn't lie. You should send Mishea to Afghanistan to take on the Taliban. Special Forces Feline that one.

Garpu & CA,

Thank you very much. Mishea is tremendously affectionate as well. If you look at my profile photo you can see she's on my lap as I'm trying to type on my computer. That's no accident.

Cowboy,

Did Mishea ever scratch you? She does have the occasional psychotic outburst, but apart from that, you must admit she is very sweet and sociable. IPAO put soft claws on her, so now she's not as dangerous.
